It’s a tale of two cities.  Tanya Morgan emcee Von Pea had just finished a tour last summer while sitting in LA with new creative energy and nowhere to put it. Such can become life in LaLa Land.  Listening to a beat tape Tanya Morgan in-house producer Aeon gave him, Von began writing on his flight back to New York. The next month was spent walking around Brooklyn and writing this newly released EP, Duly Noted.

The end result is down-tempo, like a weekday afternoon doing absolutely nothing and does tend to draw on the shared Cincinnati roots that make up the other side of the Tanya Morgan crew.  Standouts on the six track album are the single “Alone” and also the “tagged me” interlude which we probably want to hear more of down the line.  Those purchasing the EP will also receive six bonus instrumentals, one for each track.
