Photography Meets Fashion | Paul Smith x Leica's Limited Edition X2 Camera

Photography Meets Fashion | Paul Smith x Leica’s Limited Edition X2 Camera

Famed menswear designer Paul Smith made a name for himself with his chromatic collections but now, the fashion guru has lent his signature stylings to European camera innovator Leica to create a special edition X2 camera.

The camera contains Paul’s vibrant tastes, with a tri-colored exterior consisting of the main body wrapped in lovely racing green cowhide leather while the upper and lower plates were flushed in a contrasting bright orange and rich yellow hue, respectively.

Outside of its unique flair, the X2 features an APS-C-format, professional CMOS image sensor with 16.5 megapixels and a high-performance Leica Elmarit 24 mm f/2.8 ASPH lens which assures maximum image quality and stunning exposure, making it the ideal choice for the astute photographer.

Each special edition X2, which is limited to 1,500 units, contains its own unique limited edition serial number. As an added perk, they also come with a precisely moulded camera protector and carrying strap in taupe leather.

The limited edition X2 camera marks the perfect marriage between fashion and technology that Paul Smith and Leica have ingeniously conceived. Avid fashion and photography fans alike can expect the release of the special edition X2 in November 2012. For more, visit Paul Smith’s website.
