The Future Of Cycling | The Bicymple
Ever thought there was no way we could improve on the whole bicycle idea? Well, Washington state native Josh Bechtel brings us a new look on an old hobby: the Bicymple.
So what exactly did he do to make the cycling experience easier? For starters, his design is based off theĀ principleĀ of removing the chain, which allows less moving parts needed and lessens overall complexity. With a direct-drive, freewheeling hub attaching the crank arm axis with the rear-wheel axis, it minimizes the design with a shortened wheel base.
In short, the compact design give riders a comfortable concept bike that’s as stylish as it is maintainable. Enough talk, check Bechtel’s short video that helps explain how he’s made the bicycle, simplified.
