As music continues to evolve, the blending of genres are inevitable. Case in point: EDM artist Pretty Lights and BK emcee Talib Kweli who link up to bring us Around The Block.

Directed by Anthony Dickenson, the visuals show a smooth montage of shots from, you guessed it, around your everyday urban street block. Add some sick studio scenes featuring Talib Kweli and you have yourself a feel-good, summertime hip-hop jam that anyone can enjoy.

 The single is the first from PL’s (unofficial nickname) upcoming album A Color Map of the Sun, which is set to hit the shelves July 2.
