So this super young producer, Thelonious Martin, just celebrated his 21st birthday and released this track ‘Live From Japan’ as a gift to US.

Taking his cues from J Dilla, Madlib, MF DOOM, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, and The Alchemist this rare young talent has already worked with the likes of Savemoney, Smoke DZA, Joey Bada$$, Chance The Rapper, Pac Div, Mac Miller, Action Bronson, Curren$y, Freeway, Hodgy Beats,Domo Genesis,Da$h & Retchy P, MC Tree, Add-2, Vic Mensa of Kids These Days, Rockie Fresh, Kid Daytona, Sir Michael Rocks, Boldy James, GLC, Million Dollar Mano, Kids These Days among others and is actually just hitting the tip of what looks to be a massive iceberg.

Also, let’s admit it we often times go to our favorite artists’ SoundCloud, BandCamp or various sources and in the last 6 months might find a few gems..and yet somehow we feel LUCKY. This guy has endless amounts of tracks, all quality, just coming out of his ears. As he implores his fans: “Listen with your heart.”  Hopefully now that he can (legally) go to the  club this won’t change anything.. and we seriously doubt it will.
